#32 - background check with sympathy

 

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is called background check - you are to stamp your favorite background or make your own pattern paper by stamping...I love this wood and words background stamp from Unity....I think it turns out so elegant and fills centre spaces nicely on a card...play along with us, won't you?

#31 - love flower anniversary

This week is the third anniversary of Shopping our Stash and our request is to make an anniversary or birthday card to help celebrate...this card used up a bunch of pieces from a kit...as sample die cut and an old rub on that barely worked...not sure I am a true fan of it, but it used so many bits and pieces that were "leftovers" that I was glad to get it finished :)  play along with us, will you?

#30 - danse nocturne

This week's challenge at the Opus Gluei is to make something for your bff - I did this page featuring my girl's bff's from dance and their creepy clown costumes from their dance....they had a fabulous time performing at the Canadian National dance championships and the Provincial Dance Festival....they did fabulous and had a great time with their peeps putting on this crazy creepy show!

#29 - you are my sunshine

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to make a card or project using an inspiration from song lyrics...I chose "you are my sunshine" - mostly because I wanted to mix 4 different die sets together to make one card and I had a stamp with they lyrics right on it....play along with us, won't you?

#28 - i am grateful

This weeks Challenge at Shopping our Stash is a photo inspiration challenge (see the photo below)....I loved the colours and the "scatter" of the buttons and thought this paper had the same type of scatter with the flowers on it...then added some buttons to my flowers to carry on the button theme...and of course the colours are similar and closer in real life than in this picture...play along with us, will you?

#27 - a laugh is a smile

This week's challenge over at the Order of the Opus Gluei is to use flowers on your project.   I love using flowers on my project....we still have a little bit of snow in our neck of the woods and it has been cold and gloomy the last few weeks....it feels at though spring will never arrive this year...so the only flowers we will be seeing for a bit are fake ones, but that is okay.... come play with us, will you?
