#6 - australia day
This week's challenge at the Opus Gluei is to do a project in your mind that takes you to the far away lands of Australia. Australia has always been a place I have desired to go...sunshine and heat in a far away land.....this card feels like the dreamyness I get when I think of going there...we plan to cruise there in the not too near future on a 30 day cruise from our house with stops in Hawaii and Tahiti and then maybe spend a couple of weeks touring around...but that will have to be when we are retired so that there is enough vacation time to really get in a good look......

#5 not your ordinary paper
this weeks challenge at shopping our stash is to use paper that is anything but ordinary. I chose to use canvas paper. This paper has been hoarded away for at least 12 years as I did not ever want to sacrifice it.... not any more...I cut into it and stamped away. The copic markers caused a cool effect which was semi watercolour but I ran into the problem of my black ink reactivating on this paper. Oh well. Live and learn. Play along with us, will you?

#2 - unity challenge
The first challenge I have participated in for 2015 and the first one in a long time...but I am loving my Unity stamps and I thought I would join in (hoping to take the time to participate in many challenges this year if life doesn't get in the way)...this was based on a sketch, but varies slightly to meet the requirements of the person who requested this card instead of being exactly sketch worthy...hopefully it is close enough to qualify...it is rectangular instead of square and my hearts are beer glasses....
