SOS - sketch challenge

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use this sketch to make your project.  I took quite a literal interpretation of it and this is what I came up with. Play along with us, will you?

 

SOSS - D for Diecut

 This week's challenge at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is D for diet...my absolute favourite tool to use is a die cut machine...love the little bits and pieces and glueing them all together.  Play along with us, won't you?

SOSS - The great outdoors

 This week's challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is to make a project depicting the outdoors.  Seeing as how the snow here may have melted (and hopefully stays away) yard work is the next thing on the maintenance list...play along will you?

SOS - Mother's Day

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to make a Mother's Day card or a card for a special lady in your life.  I am lucky to have my mom (and 3 mother-in-laws - yay) to make cards for so this is one of the ones I completed.  Play along with us, will you?

SOS - shower

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is April showers - do a project for a baby or bridal shower.  We haven't had any showers here yet but spring is almost sprung so it should happen any day!!  Play along with us, will you?

SOSS - fancy fold

 The challenge for Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers this time around is fancy folds. I put four folds into my card because it rounded out four letter words well...play along with us, will you?

SOS - round and round

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use circles on your project.  I chose circular dies with the cats and the cat heads are circular as well which makes it fun.  Play along with us, will you?

SOSS - S is for snarky

 This week's challenge for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is S is for snarky...I promised an "f" bomb at some point and here is a mild one with some tropical flare (as we are expecting a snowstorm starting tonight)...enjoy

SOS - Winter Wonderland

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is winter wonderland - create a winter scene or a white on white card.  I did a white on white thank you to send for a Christmas present received.  Perfect for this challenge!  Play along, will you?

SOS - once upon a time

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is called once upon a time and as it't name indicates, it is all about fairy tales.  I chose a classic tale of three little pigs - but on a fun day with no big bad wolf. Play along with us, will you?

SOSS - N is for new

 This time on the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers we are using new as the theme...I went for New two ways....New Year and New Dies...may as well get the most bang for the challenge buck with the theme.  Play along with us, will you... SOSS - my first post here :) J is for Jessi

 Hello all... I am a newbie here on the design team for The Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers and excited to join in.  This challenge is about my friend Jessi, whom I miss dearly.  We used to chat for hours and were going on a lot of the same medical journey at the same time.  Mine worked out a lot better than hers and it gets me every time I think of her how maybe it could have turned out differently for her.  Anyhow...let's get to a card that reminds or represents her.  This is mine:

SOS - Splish Splash

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use a water medium or a water image - I chose to do both watercolouring and using jellyfish from the ocean.  Play along with us, will you?

SOS - emboss like a boss

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash  is called emboss like a boss - use embossing on your project.  This can be dry embossing or wet embossing or both.  I chose to do both on my card this week as I love both techniques and looks.  Play along with us, will you?

SOS - Colour challenge

his week's challenge at shopping our stash is a colour challenge.  I chose to do an ink pull on my gelli plate blending my colours to represent the picture.  Play along with us, will you?

SOS - franken-card

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is called Franken-card and the idea is to use something that represents halloween or something spooky on your card.  I thought I would make a little scene of goodnight ghost stories for some spooky bedtime ghostly monster fun.  Play along will you?

SOS - Colour me beautiful

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is all about your favourite technique for colouring.  My technique definitely gets the colour on the page but not with markers or crayons or paint.  I do mine with layering stencils for the perfectly coloured look without the time commitment. SOS - Shake it up

 This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is called Shake it up - and as the name indicates the cards need to shake their booty.  I went for a full panel shaker card with some hot foiling in the background and for the sentiment.  Play along with us, will you?
