Project 365 #83 - cotton candy page

I did this page for creative scrappers sketch #103 - it is late for the contest to get all four pages (sketches 102-105) done, but we had water flooding in the basement during the huge rain last Saturday and my crafting area is now a basement furniture storage area... :P what can you do? There is supposedlly going to be heavy rain again this weekend, so we left everything up on the third level to avoid any real damage of our stuff....so needless to say, only two of the four pages got done...oh well...at least it is two more disney book pages done! I love how the cotton candy turned out on this page...I made it with some cotton balls and home made spritz spray ( rubbing alcohol, hair spray and pearl ex powder)...the colour worked perfectly and it didn't cost $12.00 a bottle...yippee. Project 365 #32 - Jiminy Cricket Page

I did this page with two different challenges in mind. I thought I would combine them both and get another Disneyworld page completed while I am at it. I used my new Stampin'up Sweet Pea paper that I got at my party. Love it! The first challenge that I wanted to try is a sketch challenge at Creative Scrappers. That one has a few more details to add: Lace trim - check, Cardboard or Corrugated paper - Check, at least 5 hearts - there are 12 on my page, glimmer mist - in the bottom left corner (although it is hardly visible and just made my paper wrinkly...grrr...) and last but not least Turquoise - and check again...got all five in there. Project 365 #13 - the Wicked Stepsisters - Creative Scrappers #86

I did this page for the second half of my Evil and Wicked page. I saw the challenge for Creative Scrappers and their sketch just called out for the second half of this layout. You can see their challenge here: http://www.creativescrappers.blogspot.com/ . Here is the other half is anyone is interested...did that one before this project (the colours are really close to the same, but look much lighter in the first pic...they are truly the colours of the second one!): Glad that challenge came out cuz this picture looked super lonely in the album without a match. One more event from Disneyworld documented and finished. Plus I just thought that these pictures were so awesome. We were the first people to visit with the evil stepsisters and the wicked stepmother that morning and they spent tons of time with the girls. They made the day for them. Up until this character photo, we hadn't had much luck with any of the characters...man they take lots of breaks..of course if that was my job, I would take lots too!
