I just got this cute little turtle stamp yesterday and had to use her...she is just to cute . The ScrapYard in Stonewall had a sale on their Bellas yesterday, buy two get one free...So I picked up a couple...or should I say a few?? 15 to be exact...shhh, don't tell Gordie ;)...but anyway...needed a couple of girly birthday cards, so this is what I came up with...no challenges...just me.

Project 365 #21 - Boy Birthday Cards - S2G#42, Cute Card Thursdays # 98

I made these birthday cards with the boys in the family in mind. We have a few birthdays coming up this month and I tried really hard to hit the masculine aspect of a birthday card. Hopefully I was successful. Shirley's 2 Girls is also doing a birthday challenge this week and you can play along here: http://s2gpapercraftingcontest.blogspot.com/ . I am also playing along with Cute Card Thursdays spots and dots challenge #98. You can find their challenge here if you would liek to join in: http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ .Thanks for looking.

Project 365 #3 -Mission Create - mission 6

So, my friend Nicole sent me a link to a blog that she designs on called Mission Create -http://www.missiontocreate.blogspot.com/ . She told me to check it out, and of course I had to. They do challenges that come in a series of 5 things - one from each of the design team. This challenge was for at least 3 label stickers, felt item, pink-yellow-teal colour scheme, polka dots and black pen outlining. I think I have them all...hopefully...I am trying desperately to get my Disneyworld scrapbook finished and this project should hopefully help with that.

Scrappin' Great Deals guest designer

So I would like to thank Sheila and the gang at Scrappingreatdeals.com for giving me the opportunity to be a guest designer for their new kit of the month club. I was asked to design for the September kit as seen on the left. It was so much fun and amazing the amount of projects that could be completed from this kit and a couple of pieces of paper from my own stash. The kit...so full of bling and pretty colours...I was so excited when I opened up that pizza box and saw all the colours inside! I did the following 12x12 scrapbook pages...most of the stuff was right from the kit....added a couple of Mickey ears to the flowers on the ear page and a little extra orange and black for the Tigger page. The Tiggers were made on my Cricut machine and the yellow for his belly is the back of the flowery orange paper. His stripes are from the shiny orange cardstock.
Here are some of the cards and the altered project that I made with the leftovers from the scrapbook pages. This kit sure goes a long way.
Well I hope you like what you see...hopefully this opportunity might come again in the future...it was so much fun to do and I got so much completed!
Thanks for looking!
